The paths of Como Lake

We are going to travel again soon. The good news coming from all over the world are making that perspective every day more possible. Thanks to vaccines, traveler’s passports and social distancing, with the fine weather, we will be able to safely visit Lake Como again.
A trend that is been rising high in recent years is certainly the holiday in nature, away from the confusion and the confined spaces of our daily lives; and neadless to say our beloved lake stand out also in this trend.

Three paths that you can’t miss and run through every corner of the lake, narreting its life from ancient times to the present day. Routes with different levels of difficulty but accessible and safe: after all they are simply the ancient roads that our ancestors used for their journeys on foot.

LA STRADA REGIA

The STRADA REGIA (Royal Road), is the ancient road that connected Como to Bellagio; a 6 hours walking but which you can easily tackle for short stretches as it travels parallel and sometimes overlaps the Lariana state road, touching several small town that are certainly worth visiting.

The GREENWAY DEL LARIO, the 11 km long panoramic route that from Griante Cadenabbia reaches Colonno, touching some of the most famous places on Lake Como such as Villa Carlotta, Villa del Balbianello, the Ossuccio bell tower and many others.
