The Hotel Helvetia, located in the typical lakeside village of Lezzeno, just a few kilometers from Bellagio and stone’s throw from Comacina Island first opened its doors as a hotel back in 1910. This charming historic mansion, which offers the most breathtaking views of Lake Como, was completely renovated in 2013 and now proudly offers many modern touches including complimentary Wifi, LCD Televisions, Elevator and Air Conditioning.
One of our guests’ favorite corners of the property is our beautiful scenic terrace with stunning lake views which is the perfect place to start the day with our plentiful breakfast which includes many local and fresh products. Following breakfast whether you choose to stay in Lezzeno and discover the picturesque lanes, stairways and quaint hamlets or head further afield the choices of beautiful places to visit is endless. Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Villa Balbianello are just a few of our favorites – for sure you will find many of your own too. These can be enjoyed using the public boats or by renting your own private boat with driver. The Public Bus stop is just 50 meters from the hotel making it very convenient to head north to Bellagio or south to Como.
